PATTERN

“Two-Toned Ribbed Shrug” from Stefanie Japel’s Fitted Knits

Knit in small/medium with 16″ pattern

 

YARN

Zarella Woolmark Blend (52% Wool, 48% Acryllic)

4 balls total: 2 green + 2 blue (121 yards per skein)

 

NEEDLES

Size 5 circular needles, 24″

Size 8 circular needles, 24″

 

COST*

4 balls @ $6.50 each = $26.00

NOTES

  • Loved the yarn I used!! It has a real shiny, crisp look. And it’s really soft to wear.
  • The pattern was very easy to follow. Though looking back, I wish I had knit this in at least one size larger a pattern.
  • Lesson definitely learned–if you knit this pattern for yourself, go up 1 size, maybe even 2, or else the yarn will pull funny and fit goofy! I thought I just made the wrong size for myself (though according to the book it should’ve fit). But when I saw that Chanel had the exact same problem I knew it was definitely not us; but that the pattern must be written that way.
