What a hiatus! :O

Well, I haven’t been knitting in a LONG time, but the other day I got the itch and started a project. Which made me remember that I should update the blog since I haven’t done that in FOREVER either. So here goes.

All is well. I am now a homeowner, a barista, and freshly 22 years old. Huzzah!

So it’s the middle of winter (and still surprisingly warm in California compared to other places), but I’m a huge wimp and I’ve been freezing cold all of the time in this harsh, overcast, 70 degree weather. My favorite scarf in the world was the blue Clapotis I made a while back, but since I STILL haven’t finished unpacking since my big move, it’s lost and lonely in a box somewhere. But I’ve been wanting a giant black snuggly scarf. Boring? Yes, kind of. But classic. So I cast on for a black Clapotis scarf about a week ago and am making headway on it. I’ll have to get some pictures up soon. It’s made from the best of the yarn I could get my hands on immediately from Micheal’s. I really would’ve loved to have ordered something from knitpicks.com,  but like I said, I got the itch and had to start a project that same night, so I had to settle on some acrylic that was available. Meh.

Pictures coming soon! More knitting and more posting coming soon! Let’s hope I don’t run into the same problems with this new scarf that I did when I knit my blue scarf. THAT was a nightmare.
